Painters! Direction needed

Im stripping my inner fairing off tomorrow to get it prepped for paint and need some direction on the paint process on my color.

Is the Pewter Pearl 912872 just a silver base with the flaked pearl/activator? What would you suggest for primer, sealer etc. and i know ill need a promoter so I will get that as well.

Thanks everyone. Im not shooting it but a buddy is and I want to have everything when i take it over.

The primer I use is PPG DP90LF epoxy primer, it will ensure a perfect bond between the old finish and the new color

The pewter pearl base coat covers real nice over the black primer and with the PPG DCU2042 urethane clear you will get a real nice finish as good or better than the factory painted parts.

If your are using the dealer parts counter activated single stage paint with no clear coat I guarantee you won't be happy, if you have your painter put a good urethane clear over the base it should turn out ok.

Btw, the base includes all the flakes and color, this is not a "Tri coat" color
