I envy you people that smoke pipes. I tried. I like the flavour, I like the ritual of getting it ready. But damned if I can pack it right to keep it going. Flavor and smell has always appealed to me, but no good at it.

So, I stick with cigars. Also it's own ritual of cutting, toasting the end, pouring a nice whiskey, Scotch, or
special beer to chase.

Luckily we have a cigar fest that I have been getting free tickets to, to get lots of freebies to try out brands. Also booze 😁

Takes a bit to get the hang of it, but packing a pipe isn’t too bad. Fill it up all the way, pack it down pretty good. Add some more tobacco, pack it down again but not as packed as the first pack. Light it up and smoke it, might need a quick pack again after you light it but that should do it.
But truthfully, I find myself lazy a lot and just grab a cigar.

That Cigar International Store is beyond awesome. Man Town times 10 squared !

(Sorry Cabellas/Bass Pro old hat to me. Have one at Patriots, and at Green Bay)

As to my favorite Cigar, Drew Estates Acid Blondie Maduro

After finding some Maple Vodka in Nova Scotia, we have been on the search. Have yet to find the Vodka. But, have found Maple - Whiskey, Rye, Bourbon and Liqueur. Sapling, Saxton, and Smugglers Notch distilleries brands making the "cut". Over rocks, all are good ! Sapling Rye my favorite. Saxton Bourbon in #2 spot !
