Here's hoping the rehab process goes well. Sucks to hear about the dialysis thing. Get well soon.

Glad you're getting better. Watched my father have double knee replacement. He did extremely well. Healed up fast and was like a new man. Hope the same results for you. I'll be getting knees at some point too.

Docs kill more every day than guns kill in a year, these mistakes keep ex patients rolling down to the morgue and no one blinks twice. We see the failures in hospital treatments come up in every monthly CQI meeting while reviewing patient outcomes for people we have transported with our ambulance service.

Do your PT and ask lots of questions

Glad to hear your back & on your way to a full recovery, hang in there & youíll be dancing like Fred Astaire before you know it. It sucks not being able to ride for while, I had shoulder surgery on Wednesday & was told Iíll most likely have to be in a sling for up to 8 weeks

Glad to hear/read your back home and on the road to recovery. Here's to a speedy and complete recovery, stick to your PT and you'll be 18 again
I know it doesn't compare, but my friend had her left shoulder replaced not quite 2 months ago, and she is doing her PT like a nobodies business. She is itching to ride so bad, I can't believe how well she is doing with full range of movement.....but her doc says no riding till end of April

I'm glad it was done but in my case it was a whole new experience in pain, it was some of the worst pain a person could imagine. The hip still hurts a lot but it will slowly go away (I hope ) so I have something to look forward to. I have the standard hip restrictions and I can't put more than 50% of my weight on my right hip for the first 4 weeks. Also someone dropped the ball on my kidney dialysis treatments and I got real sick from going 6 days without a dialysis treatment and I am not feeling reel well right now because of the missed treatment, I'm still feeling nauseous and I want to throw up from time to time but it's getting a little better. I really don't have a appetite right now so that may be a good thing because on how I feel. The Doc said my hip was one of the worst he ever seen and I was way past due on getting my hip replaced. Well hopefully I will be back on the bike soon but I'm not going to go too fast when it comes to riding because I want to be real careful with this new hip because I don't want to do anything to jeopardize my healing progress.
Godspeed in healing up Mark.
