Congratulations. True American hero.

Back in late 30's, my father received an appointment to West Point.
Being an only child, my grandmother was against it, saying she did not raise her only son to be a soldier.

Fast forward to 1941, and he enlisted and became a member of the US army air corp.

Good luck and long life to your son.

Tom

Congratulations. I've long said that the young people that attend the service academies our truly amount our finest. They are well-rounded. They must be academic and athletic, but also have a strong work ethic and high integrity.

Best wishes to him and you.

Congrats, great news. My son is at the Naval Academy Prep School in Newport RI. Graduates in May then to the Academy in Annapolis in June. He wrestles for Navy and will be at West Point later this month for the Army Navy match. The preps wrestle first then the Academies. Good luck to your son. Such an wonderful opportunity. Is he playing a sport at West Point?

wrestling or powerlifting. He wrestles now at Wayland Baptist University but was redshirted. We will have to see if he wrestles at The Point.
