My buddy got dive bombed by a seagull on a road trip once. Funniest thing I ever saw.

That's a sad story! I've been close to hitting buzzards and ravens myself a few times. If only bird encounters were this fun.....

A wild turkey flew up and caused a guy I know to have a severe accident. He has permanent disabilities due to the accident and he was a MSF instructor and a very good rider. Thanks for the reminder.

Wow,thatís no joke! Had a few near misses with wild turkeys along the Skyline Drive/Blue Ridge Parkway the many times I rode it. Usually worry about the close calls with deer and also moose which Iíve had a few of over the years but all it takes is a bird to cause severe problems. Be careful and stay safe out there!

Yep. Saw a lot of buzzards during my ride today. I laid on the tank a couple times.

One of my buddies hit a turkey two days ago. Killed the bird, scratched his SG faring, broke off wind deflector & hit him on side of helmet. Toooo close.
