For The Smart Guys.....ST Owner Needs Advice

So the Heritage is a Single Disc Front Brake System......While not bad, I never understood why all fronts are not dual disc.......but I don't understand a lot in today's word and Harley's decision for brakes can be added to that list.

So, would I need to swap my Heritage rims for a say a Low Rider S Rim (guessing as both are Softail and run the new fronts, I might be good with Bolt on Fit) that has Dual Disc from the Factory or is there just a way to "throw another disc up there".....?

Thinking of Winter Projects already.......

Thx Ladies

Where do you plan on putting the other brake caliper? You would also need to swap the blank side fork lower to one that would accept a caliper. Not sure if there is another model of bike that would have a matching right side set up for a caliper so you may have to swap the forks. If so I would do the LRS inverted fork setup but that can be a lot of money. The LR wheel may work but it is a taller and narrower wheel so that would affect the ride in a different way. Not only all of that but you may also need to change the front master cylinder to one that is setup to run dual disc.

Now I'm sure a smarter guy than me will chime in and might know for sure what you need to do but just looking at a glance I think you're in for more of a project than you really want to do. Hopefully not.

Eddie, maybe your next bike could be a roadglide, they come with duel disks up front.

Just a thought

Looking for simple really and thought with the new LRS out for 2020, did not know if I could run that front and have it bolt right on (figured forks and Wheel) and have my beloved Dual Disc........like my old '99 FXDX had
