Daytona Biketoberfest Gub Warning

If you have a Concealed Weapon License and are going to or at the Daytona Beach Biketoberfest beware. The fuzz are arresting people for any incidental/accidental exposure or printing...as brandishing.

Yes, it is complete bullshit that will/should never hold up in court. But as they say even if you beat the charge...you won't beat the ride (e.g. bail, court costs, fines, etc..).

I've already done the swap meet (did quite well), and most likely won't go back since they're pulling that kind of stupid shit.
Mike U, Bevis, Little Wing and 1 others like this.

Scarlet Red 2010 Road Glide Custom named Trixie - She's a flashy little minx..
Basic black 1981 Tour Glide Classic named Alice - She's a sleeper project.

Try double shoulder holster open carry, they will probably not even look because they are so focused on looking at conceal and printing!

Printing is being able to see the outline through your clothing.

What it cost you to get out of that ? Did you get your piece back ? Never heard of the printing thing. I use a wallet holster and wear loose jeans but sitting sometimes it prints a square.

Is "printing" actually a law? Does it say you can get arrested for printing? I've seen this a million times. The story grows and grows. I knew a couple of guys that got arrested in Sturgis like ten years ago. The story I was told was that they were minding their own business and wound up in jail for no reason. They left out the fact that they got in a bar fight with a group of 1%ers.

I don't know. Cops can arrest you for just about anything. Like joker said, it's up to you to prove your innocence in court.

I'm not the one that got popped, I just got a heads-up from a friend. I decided not to carry for this run because of the warning - I can't afford that shit
