250w amp question

I have been looking at the 250w amp and at the instructions and brackets, and it seems to me that the amp could be mounted on the left or right side of the fairing. Is this an accurate guess on my part? Just asking, becauseI was thiniking that if this was true, then I should be able to run 2 amps.

I've got the stock HK head unit with J&M 7.25 in the fairing... No plans for lowers, no plans to add to lids or removable tourpak...

Would the same amp kit be sufficient for me or do you feel the 500w be better? If so, why if I'm not planning to add more speakers?

Thoughts?

I had thought about the 500w amp, but.....I was thinking of adding some speakers to the inner fairing (facing towards the forks), and the placement of the 500w amp interferes w/ that. But when I looked at the 250w instructions, it looks like I could hang one on each side of the fairing, and still be able to add the other speakers.....THUS I COULD HAVE MY CAKE AND EAT IT TOO!!!!! LOL!!!! ......while listening to some really loud tunes!
