Amp and speaker for older sharks

I have a 2005 Roadglide and looking to upgrade the stereo. I want to keep my stock head unit basically bescuse I like the look of it. I have 3 questions because I have never done anything w/ a stereo before.

1. If I keep my stock head unit how will I connect it to an amp
2. My head unit is 8ohm output. If I use an amp is my output what the amp puts out?
3. I am interested in running the 7.25 rockers in the stock fairing locations. Can I use those in a bike as old as mine?

Thank you in advance
