I was looking at this on your website and have a question. If I have my iphone connected via bluetooth to the radio, can I use the harley controls on the handlebars to change tracks, or do I have to change tracks using my iphone?

Also, in the video it shows something plugged into the AUX port of the radio, is that part of this kit or something else?

Thanks

rocus ,,,,,

all track changes etc whether using the iPod cable OR with your music device/phone linked by Bluetooth, are made on the screen itself, not with the handlebar controls ,,,,,,

the cable from the J&M controller plugs into the aux input jack on the Harley radio, from the front as normal or to the rear if the radio was modified by Iron Cross for rear accessible aux input ,,,,

we just installed another one of these here in Laconia, the man plugged his iPhone into the iPod cable to keep it charged and stream down stereo from Pandora, then simultaneously linked his Harley Roadtech Zumo GPS for nav commands & XM sat radio ,,,,,,, as the Bluetooth link AUTOMATICALLY overrides the cable iPod/iPhone link ,,,,,

really works well ,,,,,,

Let me see if I understand. I can connect my iphone via bluetooth but the bluetooth module's connection to the radio is through the aux port on the front of the head unit?

rocus ,,,,,,,

that is correct ,, OR you can connect your iPhone to the iPod cable, coming from the J&M unit, that will put the music or Pandora from your iPhone into the system, and keep the iPhone charged., then link a Bluetooth device to the J&M unit, ((like the Harley RoadTech GPS unit)) and when a navigation command comes thru, It will automatically override the music from your iPhone ,,,,,

we also offer a handlebar cradle for your phone as a second option ((see http://www.jmcorp.com/ProductDetail....JMDM-IPBT-HDDR ,,,,

MUCH $$ less expensive than Harley's iPod controller and MUCH better sound with the proper signal strength into the system ,,,,,
