Pressure behind that Nut

If you, as many have put 90ies
on.
Was sure it was tight 800 miles ago before skipping out. Least one thread loose when just ck'ed air.

It was 6# lower than before, to be fair the front was 4# lower too.

Time to check yourself

Good catch Reds4. I've never used these, and don't know much about them. Is there a reason you couldn't or shouldn't put some blue Loctite on the threads, and then tighten them down, or did you do already do this, and they backed out anyway?

i just use the 12'' valve extension from hd. never an issue with that.

I understand the concept of reality, but find it too confining for a way of life.

I know or think kow the Al valve stem is grommeted, the nut secures down on the outer rim hole rubber, so the 90 can be laterally positioned . Don't wanta over crank it against the Al rim

it isn't really zero loss, but i have taken it off and then turned around and stuck it right back on to test how much air it did lose. my digital pressure tester did not measure any loss.
