I promised myself I wouldn't do it. I lied.

Ended up dropping the bike off for storage. I don't have a real garage. So while in was there I started talking to my buddy Larry. He asked if I was doing my rims this winter. I said no. And as the wife shopped I was thinking. Well. The wife go to talking to the owners wife and mine picked out a bracelet. Well. The owners wife found out we were some if their best customers and gave my wife the bracelet. I asked if she'd give me rims. I laughed. She laughed. No. Lol. So with the way she treated the wife I said fuck it. Well. The owners wife followed me to the parts counter and told him to take very good care of me. So my 1400.00 Bill dropped to 1100. How could I say no. Lol. I already have the rear rim. So, I'll have the contrast agitators on my bike come spring.

I was planning on keep in my front tire. Has 16,700 on it. Mechanic kinda shamed me. And ya know. I think he's right. So I'll throw on a new American Elite up front. No choice on the rear. It needs it. And it's an 18 not a 16.

Can't wait. I'll post pics.

North East Ohio. 5 miles off Lake Erie. They're salting roads now. S ow Friday. My bike will be parked until end of April. We vet snow then too. Sucks. But our summers are worth it.

I grew up I?m Minnesota, strong understanding of the long salt road winter. Salt is hell on the bikes, probably a good thing to put way away for the winter so your not tempted by the occasional warm day.

That's fantastic how your dealer takes care of you. The only thing my dealer has given away are hot dogs on Sundays during the summer.

The dealer's wife knows how to sell! Give the wife a gift so she won't get mad when the husband drops $1100. Cool!

Man, they really take care of you. Congrats on the deals and new rims & free bracelet. (Assuming they weren't the handcuff type bracelets for shoplifting. )
