comfort or appearance

Need some help, I want to upgrade from stock rims cast aluminum to chrome.

but I need some experience about upgrading from 180/65B 16"rear and 130/80B 17" front
to 180/55B 18"rear and 130/60B 19" front, how much comfort difference is it?

If you upgrade to quality suspension at the same time you will probably notice an improvement in comfort. I went from a Road Glide Ultra with OEM air suspension to a Road Glide Special with 13" Ohlins Blackline shocks in the rear. Definitely a better ride.

You will probably get better handling with the increased wheel/tire size but if your looking for comfort invest in A Quality suspension....

I upgraded to 18" front and rear on my 2011. I didn't feel much, if any, real comfort loss, but I also did it when it had only 1000 miles. My 2015 had an 18" rear and 19" front before the custom rims that are 21" front and went down to a 17" rim in the rear with a 200 width tire. Again, didn't feel an appreciable loss of comfort, but I also have aftermarket suspension that was installed shortly after the newish wheels. As others have mentioned, a good aftermarket suspension makes a huge difference, regardless of wheel change.

So, consider an 18" front and rear for minimal change in suspension. 2" and you will feel the loss more, though not too bad. But do consider changing the front and rear suspension for comfort and handling.
