Larrys Ride great job! You know you can clear the codes yourself too!

Larrys Ride I tried to do them together but it was a bitch to make the turns. One at a time. I used beaded chain, a lot
of black tape and spray detailer. I tried grease first, but that just made a mess.

The biggest PITA is feeding the wires through. Be very patient. Don't spray WD40 in the tubes.

Actually, my wife took over and got the bars wired

I'm 5'6" on a good day and I was concerned that the bars would be too tall and force me to lean way forward. Well after a few hours of cursing and swearing running the wires through the bars I found the best way (not the smart way) was to leave the clamp bolts a little loose to be able to yank up or push down while driving slowly around some quiet streets.

Good news fellow shorties - they worked out great! They look great and the pain between my shoulder blades is gone. As many have mentioned, you DO NOT need the wire extension and new longer hydro lines for the 12" bars - save your money. They are not as far forward as you often but they are inline with the forks. I can sit up straight, my shoulders are NOT up by my ears, and my hands are below my heart, so they didn't fall asleep on my 3.5 hour ride to Americade last week.

I hope this helps!

Ride on!
Glad it all worked out for you brother
