Was thinking the same thing as I have the same problem. Seems like many bikes, even Harleys are being downsized which is not a good thing for us lol

Those bars should be easily adjustable up and down to fit different size riders

ALL the Indian bikes with a fairing are like that. You actually have to turn the forks to the left to put fuel in the tank because the inner fairing covers up the gas cap.

They really want to compete with Harley badly lol. Polaris tried creating their own style and be as different as possible than Harley with Victory but that didnít work out so well in the long run. Now theyíre hoping to pick up sales and by releasing a fixed fairing bike and brand new powerful motor seems to be a smart move on their part. I donít believe they will ever be a major threat to Harley though. Even though Iím a big Harley enthusiast, would like to see another American motorcycle company succeed and do well

What the hell is that dude wearing??

Indians are ugly, dealers are to far and few between, there is no aftermarket support, Indian parts are expensive, and things on the bike look like after thoughts (like the hand controls).

If they sold better they probably wouldn't have the niceties on them that they do.

People can buy an Indian if what they want.

I wouldn't get one no matter what. I like Harley, That's why I buy them. Looks are important to me I guess and I just can't get past how shitty Indians look. I only know one cat that has an Indian and he got it because it was cheaper.

Although it looks like a new Road Glide it doesnít have the M8 so itís probably safe to take it for longer runs

Sincecrazy So Indian is giving HD a run across all models. That's great! Consumer wins. Water cooled, so much better than air cooled. Better power, better fuel consumption and generally cooler for the rider.

Now, do HD riders demand great changes with the motorco's offerings? Hell no. The motorco puts on its mediocre offerings with just enough change for you to feel there is a difference to be had, with what I'd say is around the time frame of 6 to 8yrs of production. Look at the V-Rod. Way out there for normal offerings and it never really caught on, because people buy an HD for reasons other than advancements and cutting edge technology, and the riders of their products don't push the limits of the bike (hell few even move the odometer much). Other manufacturers already fill the market for those demanding cutting edge and a purpose built machine.

Indian is good, but I don't think it will overtake HD in the cruiser segment of the market, at least not anytime soon. Motorcycle market as a whole is shrinking anyway.
