Hey... new to this forum not to HD's , bought my first bike a 75 Ironhead sportster AMF 18 mos' old for $2100 took it totally apart 2 times.... remember you would prep clean and tape, anything you could... Drop in off in Mars Pa to Pauls Chroming come back in 2 weeks and pay about $800 ... those were the days, Bought an 88 Low rider, was great but not a bike I wanted to build... just ride... someone said you shouldn't own a hard tail East of the Missouri River... well bought a Titan "Sidewinder" 107ci S and S screamer,,, producing a solid dyno printed
120 hp did 10.3 133 mph at Rossmeyers in Ormond on the "Dyno Drags" was a lot of fun till I broke the 1.5 inch wide BDL belt, man do those bikes push easy without a drive belt on.... So here I am 2 years now on the 09 Road Glide, bought in North Myrtle from a great guy Paul Quirini whom seems to build a bike every years or 2 .... bought Ebay picked it up with a friend in a 2 bike enclosed trailer and went on down to the Daytona Party .. spring bike week for all my first rides Got some really cool deep cut "cowbell" replacements, and Kuryakin led lights for the bags, 13 inch windshield, had excellent lights put on at The Ironhorse from a vendor there every year, [email protected] some 19 colors and more ways to show them than I need.... Hell of a way to start being a bagger.... love it air suspension to put it on the ground and a center stand that comes in handy and looks cool sitting low and straight up at attention...
