yeah, that caught me off guard from what I was told last month. Would be hard to sell them as track only bikes though.

I wonder if street legal means having to meet EPA sound regulations for the exhaust, it would be a shame for a street-legal "race-ready" bike to sound like a sewing machine. Maybe there's an exemption for limited production.

This has been done before years ago remember the V-rod destroyer back in the day wasn’t even street legal. I bet all 131 of them are sold already with big deposits on them and will never be ridden. Every manufacturer is doing it Dodge had the demon Ford plays with the mustang Chevy does corvettes. They sell for quadruple the base prices. Collectors will pay the prices to have it.
