Just got my bars, and I'm getting ready to purchase new cables and lines. I've always liked the Sterling Chromite cables and lines, so I'm looking at using those. I know the Factory 47 web site says you can use stock cables and lines when using their 12" bars. I would like to see your bikes, and see how the stock length cables and lines look. I'm thinking about going with 2+ everything, but if it looks okay with the stock length, I might just stay with that. I just don't want them to be too short. Thanks for any pictures you can show me. BTW, my bike is an 05. Thanks!

You will not need to replace the line or cables with 12" bars.

The stock lines & cables will work without having to spend the extra money.

When I was running a set of LA Choppers 13" Twin Peaks the stock lines and cables worked, so your 12" bars should be good to go.

If you extend the lines and cables you will have to much slope.

New cables are not cheap.

Just saying

Congrats on the new bars.

I'm sure your going to dig them.

That's good to know. You are right, too. The new cables and lines are not cheap!! But, I've always liked the look of the braided lines, so I'm going to bite the bullet and get them. Glutton for punishment I guess. Lol! Thanks for the advice though.

Yep I hear you.

I always run steel braided lines as well.

Better braking for sure.

When I moved up to 16" apes, I had to purchase new lines and cables.

Post up pictures once you have the mod completed brother.
