I have a 120ST, if I cam up to a TM 662-2 or TW408-6 do I need to change valve springs? I plan changing lifters to S&S and most likely a S&S or P3R flywheel. Also can I use a cometic .03 gasket to get compression bump? Would that net 10.8:1 from the stock 10.5:1?

When leaning in the direction of using the spring to it's maximum lift prior to coil bind, collar to seal contact, etc, it is always best to check.
As far as the gasket, a tight sqiush band will create more turbulence in the chamber, and control spark knock as well, but you will not know what gasket to use prior to checking deck height, chamber volume.
Check twice, cut once.
