I thinking bout buyen cases buyen a crank from dark horse get getting "custom"124 cylinder and pistons mva "hurricane heads" screaming eagle oil pump
You can go this route and build your own, but it would be more expensive in the long run over buying one already done by S&S.

Ya, I'm not understanding where you are going with this either. Your posts come across exploratory about buying a new motor???
I got a break out with a 120 and pro charger 200 plus horse a 10 road glide with a 120 131/131 I got a 13 road glide I'm building that I want a naturally asperated motor hitting in 150 to 160 that I can ride long distances with
Don't really make no sense to buy a crate motor take it apart rebuild crank put new pistons cylinders push rods lifters and do heads then have all that extra that gos to waiste let alone payen labor to pull it apart and put it back toghether
My 124 was built by Drago's over this past winter.
You haven't got to many miles on it yet

Then why don't you just buy the bottom end from S&S and build the rest around that. Their crank can handle what you are looking to throw at it. No need to take that back apart.

The kind of money that you are throwing at these bikes and the power that you are looking for I think that I'm with Pat. May as well just get that new T143 and bolt it in. Sell off the stock motor.

What are you trying to say?
Ya I wanted to stay with a more reliable motor I could ride longer distance with
I'm thinking dark horse crank carillo rod timken bearing 120r se cases
If you want a reliable touring motor then keep the compression down and use a tame cam. I don't think that you are going to be 150/160 without cranking up the compression and using bigger cams which pushes the power to the right. Your bike though.
I agree with desertwndrr. To keep a reliable TOURING motor the compression in the low 10's. Sounds like u want a bar hopper.

Get a s&s 124 and a turbo or supercharger and be right where you want.
Vinny, has a 120r re built blower motor on 2014 breakout we built him. With our chain drive and Tmax and Dragula 2 exhaust. On our Dyno it made 194 HP .On a HD dyno in Ohio It made 212HP.
I already Priced him 127" 160HP Race engine motor. :D
Your insinuating that Jay's 124" is not a reliable build?
Vinny, don't you own a shop in Ohio? You should be able to build your own motor.
No I'm asken if he had many miles on it
whats the MPG on that? Cant imagine long distance and big tuned motor go together. But it sounds like you need another toy.

From Atlanta to Daytona I was getting 39-42 @ 75-80 mph
So no other motor reputable motor builders on here
I've got just short of 3000 miles on mine. That's about to change now that spring is here.
Sorry but your not being realistic, the numbers you are looking for out of 124" is a race motor not a touring motor. Not saying you won't make it cross country but if you need that much power your gonna beat on it and all kinds of things can go wrong. There's not a builder that will warranty a such build. Your a shop why not build your own?
Stock or built what ratings you got on it or had any problems yet
