I had a D&D 2 to 1 and S&S intake, performance baffle in the exhaust, didn't get as much as I had hoped but maybe I just expected too much...104 max torque and 85 HP...

That is well above average for a '13 stage 1. So why did you expect more? Where you looking at numbers for Rushmore bikes? You have to compare apple to apples....
