I had a D&D 2 to 1 and S&S intake, performance baffle in the exhaust, didn't get as much as I had hoped but maybe I just expected too much...104 max torque and 85 HP...

Is that HD Stage 1? If so, those are pretty good numbers. Especially the tq. Harley's full out Stage 4 only advertises 103 HP and just a bit more tq than you got in Stage 1.
