Hey guys anyone know of a good set of apes with plenty of pullback? I had a street glide with 14s and loved them. Did a lot miles on them and I ride a lot of cone courses with buddies. Well I just bought a new road glide (best bike Ive ever owned), and I need a set of apes that will allow me to get a full lock under control. I put a set of KST renegades on it and they look great, but the only have 6" of pullback. Just not enough to fully lock them with good control. I'm 5'8" and they are 35.5" in width. That puts them out there a bit with only 6" pull.

Ive been looking at the harley chizeled but they are only 6 also. FMB has a set of 1.5" blazed phatty bars. They look beautiful, but they are 35" wide but with 8.5 pullback.

Anyone have any advice? Thanks!

Check out Wild1's. I had a set of 16" chubbys and if i remember, they were like 12" pullback.

Check out the "bad attitude" bars from JSR Customs. They have a bend on the bottom that bring them closer. I have a set of 12s on mine. Love em. 5' 8" stock seat.

I have the Road 6 Customs 11" Standard Apes but experience similar issues as you in the cones. I've been looking at the Khrome Werks 1.25" Bobber Ape which also has the bend by the clamp to bring the bars back closer like the Bad Attitude. The grip angle looks pretty neutral as well. I could only find one pic online of these installed. Anyone tried these yet?

Absolutely. I've installed two sets of Jim's bars and they are really great. Have a set on my own 2018 as well.
