Don't know if this will help, but I finally synced my Samsung S5 today. Bluetooth works only at very low volume. USB doesn't work at all. Both together work perfectly. If your Ipod has Bluetooth, turn it on, sync with the radio, and plug it into the USB.

I do not know if this will help but, I have an older iPod (got it back around 2005 I think). Before plugging it into the usb port, I start the music - than I plug it in to the usb port and it plays the music with no issues. I also noticed that when the iPod is plugged in, it does not show up on the media screen at all. I do not think this makes a difference, but I do have the latest software loaded on the bike.

Make sure you turn the volume up on the phone itself.

Do worry I have the same problem. Memory stick works no problem. Plug in my iPhone and it won't play or maybe sometimes it will play. Cant change songs but the volume works. Tried turning on the blue tooth, hitting play on iPhone and then plug in. Still same problem. Read the manual cover to cover, an didn't find anything.
I had a $150 Sony deck in my 07 model never had any problems.

Played off my phone fine for about a week, now it's giving me issues... Bluetooth works but can't navigate the different playlists through Bluetooth.

How do you guys set up your USB thumb drives? Can you do playlists of different music you can use the deck to search through? Sorry, this technology stuff is a little much for me.

Sorry I can't really answer your question. I have made a playlist, named it USB Music in iTunes. My playlist is prob around 100 songs or so. Get tired of the music I just delete it and and add different music. I have the same playlist on my iPhone. Using the USB memory stick everything works fine. Plug in the iPhone chose the same playlist thats on the memory stick. With the iPhone I have to start the bike, unlock the phone, open the music player app, press play, plug phone into the Apple charger cord. Sometimes it works sometimes the HK deck doesn't even recognize the iPhone.

In order to skip or replay a song on your phone, make sure your audio settings are on seek, not scan...this effects how you control music on your phone....I have a 15 and finally figured it out..

I had to convert my ACC music format to MP3 format. After I did that everything started to work, kinda. Make a long story short I had to backup my iPhone to my laptop using iTunes. Then Restore the iPhone to factory settings. Then install the backup on the phone. Plug the phone to the bike after installing a play list with MP3 files and everything worked like it should. Hope this helps you.

I figured it out after trying a Android phone with MP3 files on it. Worked fine.
Tried my work iPhone with MP3 files as a playlist. Worked fine.
Personal iPhone did not work, even with the apple charge cord.
Restored the personal iPhone with MP3 files as a playlist. Worked fine.
