Well got my bike back today, here are the bars I had installed. I have never ridden with apes but they are real comfortable, guages arent blocked and there thickness adds to the look of the bike in my opinion.

Took me about 20 miles to get used to the feel but WOW so smooth when riding, after 2 or 3 turns made me wonder why I didnt do it sooner. I came from a chopper with drag bears and always asked myself when I looked at a guy with apes how he could be comfortable and now I know.

I am 6'5" and would love to do 16" or 18"s just scared to change the ABS brake line and clutch cable not to mention the extra cost. Have talked myself into 10"s so I can keep the stock wires and cables....

Here is what I did

I have ABS and it really wasnt that expensive to change the lines, didnt screw anything up, wanted the clean look of the braided lines. I am 6 ft 32 inseam and they fit me well, at your height they should line up right to your shoulders.... you can do it
