Hey guys,
I have a question. I am replacing the compensating sprocket assembly. The manual says there is supposed to be a spacer on the shaft btwn the sprocket and the rotor but only for low output alternators. I am also installing an 50 amp 3 phase stator and rotor. Do i need the spacer? Bike does have some performance mods.Wondering if I need th3 extra pressure on the spring. Thanks

You need to be sure the sprocket on the compensator is in line with the sprocket on the clutch hub. If the new rotor is thicker than the old then you may not need the spacer.
