I'd like to check in with some of the more experienced folks with a question. I want to eliminate the plastic headlight cover and upgrade the inner bezel and headlight mounts on my 08 so that I won't need to pull off the fairing to change out headlights or eventually upgrade to the SoCal System. One of our members has a complete set up from a 2012 RGC.

I'm pretty sure I've seen You Tube videos that show this as an upgrade. Anyone know for sure if it's a direct swap?

It looks to me that you would still need to get the newer style bezel and trim from the dealer (or member PcPaiN - Jon Horton at Horny Toad HD) to eliminate the bubble.

1 - 67959-10 Dual Headlight Trim List = $44.99
3 - 67980-10 Adjustment Studs List = $5.58 X3 = $16.74
1 - 73250-10 Bezel Trim = $11.99

I did this on the wife's 08 and installed the PIAA bulbs. Much better than stock but these from what I understand are another improvement.

I also want the bulb housing as mine are foggy. Im also under the impression that the headlight/bulb housing is different to withstand any debris that might hit it.

Nice, it looks like he has the complete setup. I am unsure of the difference in the headlight housing. Now that you brought it up, my luck is she will find a rock to test that theory soon as I get her bike back together

I dont know about the HID setup as I dont have that but the newer ,10 and up, headlights and bezel will work on the older fairing , I know this because I have a 10 headlight and bezel on my 01
