RGC versus Victory--except you can't buy the Victory anywhere yet :D

Something that may turn off riders of the Cross Country is the noticeable wind buffeting we experienced at freeway speeds. We suspect the taller accessory screen from Victory will result in a marked reduction in turbulence.

The Glide is essentially liberated of any windshield, leaving only the large fairing to protect the rider from the elements. Buffeting on the RG isn’t as noticeable as on the Victory. Aboard the Harley, the rider cuts a cleaner path through the air with the tradeoff being a little more exposure to wind.

I sat on that Victory at the local dealer and all the plastic made it feel like a Jet ski. The RG feels pretty stout but the victory just felt cheap...

I dont like their fairing at all.

I couldn't decide on which to go with, when I first started looking at a new bike. The deciding factor,.. there are H-D dealers all over, and Victory dealers are few and far between. So I stuck with what I knew best, and knew was reliable. And.... the denim black 2010 was screaming my name.

The Victory has a plastic LOOK to it so I bet it does feel plastic-ky

If it did not cost so much the Victory would make a nice mule/beater/commuter.... to save mileage on the "Glide"....:D:D
We'll see what the resale values are on the Vic. I may just pick up a used one just for this purpose in a few years.;)

Humph!? Guess I made a mistake getting a Glide instead of a Polaris, I mean Victory. So Victory has, what, 10 years experience building motorcycles and H-D has about 95 years on top of that!? Nah, no mistake, I might get a spaceship in 2050 when you control the ride with mind control! Ah crap, I won't have a mind by then!
