Anyone know what it takes to change the headlight mounting plate over to the 2010 style. I stopped by the dealer but their general response is that you have to buy the entire assembly (lens, bulbs, hardware, etc.). I was hoping I could just change the hardware and backing plate.

It would be nice to be able to adjust the headlights and/or replace one on the road without having to remove the fairing. Not sure what the MOCO was thinking before 2010.

WOW, I did not even know we could not change the headlight w/o removing the fairing? seems like some bad designing on their part. I will look into this as well. I would think there would be a part # or something? hmmm

someone on here has done it...I was searching through threads about "lowers" and someone had posted that they had done the headlight conversion along with the 2010 fairing mounts so he could run the vented lowers. part #'s and everything. I should have book-marked it!

It has the easy removal tip, part numbers, etc.

Maybe it was me?....

I did change my Fairing mounting brackets to 2010 parts but not the headlight assembly.
