Only people that know anything about Harleys Ride them (ok so maybe im tooting our horn here)
But as always this time of year

LET THE RUMORS BEGIN!

Wouldn't mind the V-Glide too much if they would stretch it out a little. I cannot be any more cramped than I all ready am on my 08. I would love for it to be about 10' long and I could really stretch out. I for one cannot wait until they bring out water cooled, I will be getting one a year or two after they are out.

I rode a Street Rod last weekend and it was smooth and fast as hell. I'd welcome a Road Rod, V-Glide, whatever they call it.

This was at a secret HD show they had for dealers. This is a prototype of the new Vglide :eek::eek:

Secret for which year? Very funny! Let's see how many people can pick this picture appart.

VGlide for a prototype it has previous year floor boards, a non HD seat, a windvest shield.

Road Glide behind it has older rear end lighting, an older tire and rear fender, older rear fender bracket, a mustang seat and straight pipes.

Does anyone see anything else?

It looks like two have different Tanks?... I know ya cant see the V-Rod tank,... its under the seat, but the blue bike looks to be different all together. Orange one has CVO Fairing and Bags from 2009 model. Looks like the blue one has paint scheme off the 2001 FLTRSE2 model on the tank. Lets see what else. Its hard cause ya cant see the engine. I would say its air cooled.???

V-Rod bagger

Owning a V-rod myself I can say that they are very smooth and fast. That being said, with the engine setup like they are it would not make a good bagger. They do not have much low end grunt as they are made for higher rpm's (9500 rpm easily). Because of this you tend to have to shift more often for steep grades etc.

Anyone else notice....

Anyone else notice the 2005 VRSCB black logo on the orange air box cover (gas tank area 4 us) same with the instrument cluster - not smoothed out like the VRSCA but clunky like the B model. I noticed 'cause my friend rides that model...looks like they bolted a Road Rod kit on it alright (but with a SE paintjob!). I remember about 4-5 years ago when I first saw a Road Rod...I had an 02 RG and my wife had a 04 Vrod. I thought it was going to be the best thing ever! BUT after a ride, not built for passengers - only solo...:( NO ROOM for a passenger whatsoever unless she is supermodel thin - even then, your supermodel will NOT be comfy. Harley needs to make this bike, and MAKE IT BIGGER!!!!!!

heck no!

C'mon guys! The Road Rod is a bunch of Road glide-ish stuff bolted onto a Vrod. Great for 1up but forget taking a passenger...I know cause I tried. Wifey HATED passenger accomodations and I wasn't crazy about mine either even with floorboards. Too small and I'm only 5'9" - I can't imagine anyone taller and or heavier being comfy...

I'm talking about a BAGGER purposely built with the Revolution engine tweaked for touring as it's powerplant. Based on the RGlide / RRod concept - it should not be a far stretch for the factory to make this a reality. Anybody else but me want a water cooled HD touring rig????
