Hey all.
A friend of mine has a 2012 Road Glide CVO.
I have a 2013 Road Glide
he had ridden mine a couple times and loves his ride.
He just purchased it at the start of last summer.
His only complain is he finds his CVO rides a little hard sometimes and wants a smoother ride.
I was looking for him in the under $1000 range.
I found the Progressives for between $500 - $650.
would this be the best bang for the buck for him?
I notice the CVO shocks are different than mine....non air.
Will the Progressives make much more of a difference?
I understand there will be many different ones to choose from but just assumed that the Progressives would be the most popular?

For under a G, I would go with JRI or Ohlins

Call Howard at Motorcycle metal and talk to him about the Ohlins. JRI shocks are now an overseas product for the same price they were before. I've got shocks picked out for my new one, just need to get off my ass and fill out the Ohlin order sheet on his website.

I believe the HD premium shocks on the CVO are hand adjustable.
Try adjusting the shocks for a smoother ride. ;)
