A friendly suggestion - buy the most comfortable bars, and the cables/wires that are required, its really short sighted to let cable length determine how comfortable you are.

You will get recommendations on what other folks have done that work, but my advice is to 1) be as comfortable as you can, 2) you dont want cables that barely fit anyway, and 3) stock cables are ugly.

How much money can you really save, at the expense of comfort?

Oh, and welcome to the forums.

I'm using Wild 1 Outlawz 612s. Didn't require any extra cable or wires. I was surprised as to how simple the entire task was. I thoroughly enjoy these bars. I used to be only able to ride for 30 mins at a time before my back/shoulders hurt. Now I can ride for two hours without isse (longest I've gone at one time so far). These have a 22* angle to them, so its almost as if your fists are straight out in front of you.

I put 12 inch Factory 47 Malos on my 12 didn't need to change cables just reroute clutch cable. They are perfect for me at 5' 11" and my riding style. But I agree with Hell get the bars that fit you best. Have someone help you do some measuring, Hold a broom stick where you want the bars to be at your most comfortable. Then with a tape measure and level have some measure the height. pull back etc.
I did this then drew on a large poster board and using a protractor and the measurements we took and the measurements from different manufactures bars that I liked and found the ones that would fall in my sweet spot (from straight up to pulled back to inline with the forks.)
Took me a few days to decide, looked at 10, 12 and 14 inch. But the 12s were perfect for me and a bonus was did not have to change cables. I was concerned about the Malos being 4 inches wider than stock, but 1st ride put them to rest, they are so comfortable I love them. I had 2 Road King Classics before and put Heritage bars on them which worked but I love these F47s.
