Hey all, sorry I'm just now throwing this out there - I get caught up in day to day stuff as well as coordinating this for Rolling Thunder members that I completely overlooked putting it out here. Please see the link below re "The Ride Home". It is a 4 day event in the Americus, GA & Andersonville National POW site but our chapter normally participates during the ride & dedication ceremony (Saturday only). The Ride Home is an event recognizing and honoring former POW's and current MIA's. Living former POW's are sponsored so that they and their families can travel to this event.

Here is our chapter's schedule if anyone wants to link up with us. Captain13 & Outlawjessejames on the forum may join us if the weather holds. Yes, I know, it is tomorrow 21 SEP and again I apologize for the last minute "hey you".

Ranger75, I know I sent you a text, but wanted to thank you and the Chapter 1 members of Rolling Thunder for inviting me to ride with you all. It was a great day to ride, a great reason to ride and I appreciate you hooking up with me in Geneva.

I may have to break down and get a Facebook page, now. That is some great riding across 96 and 80. Enough long curves to keep your attention. Running the back roads down to Americus was right up my alley.

I encourage you all to join in on a POW/MIA ride if you get the chance. Seeing those men and knowing what they endured and how tough they were still amazes me.

Thanks again, Ranger. I hope to ride with your chapter agin in the near future.
