Bought the bike at a local HD dealership. Bike had 1000 miles on it, prior owner already installed Bad Dad stretched Bags and rear fender. Had the forks chromed and some Big Loui exhaust. Rode the bike about 300 miles and dropped the bike off at DD Custom Cycles in Aug 2016. Here's the laundry list:

PM 18"x5.5" Front Wheel
FX front Air Ride
Legend Rear Air Ride
Instant up reservoir

DD Custom 1.5" Ghost Bars-everything internal
DD Custom Fairing Lowering Bracket
DD Front LED Turn Signals/Running Lights
Biketronics 6 speaker system
HD Lowers
Bad Dad Competition Speaker Lids
Dave Voss custom seats and backrest

Repainted entire bike, inner fairing, speaker lids, etc, same color Mysterious Sunglo Red

Here's the bike the day I dropped it off to DD Custom:

Beautiful bike. The color is awesome and my favorite so far. I would love to be able to do those mods to my bike. I think your Glide looks outstanding.

Your bike is just flat out gorgeous!! You have built pretty close to exactly what I have in my head for my bike. I am not sure I will be able to accomplish it, but you have an absolutely beautiful, well proportioned, design, from concept to execution.

Well done man.

I do hope you plan to ride it. Now I can take the vision in my head for stretched bags, with speaker lids, and added chopped tour pack, etc and know that it really does look good in reality.

After I brought the bike home I purchased the Dropseat kit, 180 front tire kit, air shocks, lowers, stereo, etc. Figured I'd spend my time this winter putting everything together. There's a video on how to install the Dropseat, so I watched it several times and felt good about doing it myself. As I was researching drop seats I ran across DD Custom Cycles. Gave Dave a call and after talking to him realized he was the "Dropseat King" I thought I'd get a jump start on the project and have him install the Dropseat for me. (I actually was just going to have him install his famous Ghost Bars on my bike) Trailered the bike 5 hours to his shop. Unloaded the bike and took a look at some of the projects he was working on. Very impressive....not just bolt on work but superior fab work. Before I left his shop, I unloaded my truck with all of the parts and left them with Dave. (Something told me to put the parts in my truck before I left my house) Everything I was going to do, he did for me, along with other things that I had not planned on, but made sense to do while the bike was apart. (i.e.: paint the inside fairing, speaker covers and repaint entire bike due to slight non color match) Long story short, Dave did a superior job and took this bike way beyond what I could have done if I did it myself. Although I was looking forward to building it myself, I think I made the right choice by having DDCustom do the work and the good thing is that my bike will be done this month. Gives me an excuse to take the wife somewhere warm this winter and do some riding!
