If they are 6.5" they will fit right in without needing adapters.

I don't know about the Polks, but some of the higher end speakers won't fit without modifying the speaker compartment to accommodate the large magnet. I've seen a thread or two stating that this is the case with Hertz.

Yes they fit. I have them in my front fairing. I would try the tennis ball and hairdryer trick on the covers though. Or you could always buy other grills with a bit more clearance. I just used the hairdryer tennis ball method on mine and you can not even tell.

just do a search on polk MM651 it will come up. I can't take credit for it someone else posted it before. All i can say is it worked great for me and saved me having to spend at least $50 for some new speaker grills. They do fit with out doing the tennis ball trick but the tweeter is hitting the back of the grill. This pushes the grill out just enough to get it ti clear.
