According to Wild 1's, no, the stock hoses & wiring will reach but you'll have to cut some cable ties to free up some wiring. You do know that yoir stock bars are right at about 12" rise right? I think the only difference you'll notice by switching to the 502's is the width & pullback.

That's strange. Maybe it's different on the 2016's, but I don't see why HD would change it in just one model year. Wild 1's told me that the 502's will fit just fine on my 2015, but I will have to cut some of the factory cable ties to create some slack.

Where did you guys find the rise measurement for the stock bars? Did you measure the stock bars on your bikes?
It depends on the manufacturer. Some measure from the top of the bottom bar to the top of the bar where it curves back toward you. Some measure from the bottom of the top bar. The stock bars on a '15 RG have a 9.5" rise. I found this the easy way by looking at the specs in the HD P&A catalogue. They were listed specs for the gloss black RG replacement bars.
As far as the 2016's, one of the parts guys at the local dealership took measurements of them for me while I was standing there.
For the pullback you can take a tape measure and put one end on the tip of the grip, then pull the tape towards the front of the bike until its even with the front of the part of the bar where it starts to curve back. Bend the tape measure so it is at a 90* angle and you are basically making a triangle with the tape. The number on the tape right at the bend of it (the tape) will be your pullback. Stock '15 bars are 10.5" pullback. Hopefully that made sense.

Thanks Chief. I looked at several 2015 RGs during our Sturgis trip this year, and talked with a few owners who had 12" rise aftermarket bars installed.

When putting our bikes side by side even the 12" rise bars looked taller than the stock chrome bar (and mine are rolled forward a bit).

I have 13" LA Choppers Twin Peaks on my 2015 RGS and they are wider then normal and all of the stock cables and wiring worked just fine. The dealer is trying to get you to spend more money. If I were you I would have them install them in front of you because I would bet the stickers will work.

Funny you mention that, because I was looking at the installation instructions for Harley's tall boy handlebars that are supposedly 2" taller than the stock bars.

If you look at the bottom of the install guide it lists "mandatory" parts required for the installation. They include new hydraulic lines and wiring extensions. But we all now that probably isn't necessary because there are lots of 2015 RG owners who have done bar swaps up to 13" without having to change a thing :)
