Since the Ultra is listed with the CVOs and batwing Limiteds I hope it means it is a Twin Cool Ultra

If it's wet, I'm in. If not, I'm still out...

Harley has been whining about meeting emissions standard for how many years, yet look at the certification levels compared to the standards........???

I'm assuming the RGU is air cooled. Figured they would call it a Limited if water cooled.

I really think that the 16 RGU will be twin cooled, the CVOs and the batwing Limiteds listed on the attachment are all water cooled and have the same emission results, the other CARB document that had higher results are models that currently are only air cooled.

I would've preferred a limited RGU, but as long as it is liquid cooled and offered in Velocity Red Sunglo , we got a winner!!

Yes, there's going to be a wet ultra.

Here's the pages from the report put in this thread.

Pix with the green box shows the bike WITHOUT the wet heads.

Notice the emissions..

Pix with the red box shows the bikes WITH the wet heads.

Follow the link. It takes you to the PDF of the bikes with the wet heads.

Take a close look at the link and you'll see the two different engine sizes listed right in the link. 1688 and 1802.

Here's the link for the air cooled engines. You don't see an 1802 in this link.

Now as long as they are not $28-30k we will be all set.
The current Road Glide Special is ~$300 more than the Street Glide Special. An Ultra Limited in color is $27K. I'll bet we're looking at an MSRP around $27,500 for a wet RGU that's not painted black...

The OTD price for my 09 was $22,500 with a detachable chopped Tour-Pac, chrome front end, painted inner fairing and some other bling (all dealer installed before I saw the bike. Not my choices) So $5,000 more for a lot more content and adjusted for inflation, wouldn't scare me away. $30,000 would be a deal breaker though...

I read in an earlier thread that there might possibly be a police road glide. I'm trying to look into the CARB REPORT, but can anyone confirm or deny. My next purchase depends greatly on this.
I remember seeing that too. All the police models were 120's as well. I'm not in line for a new Motor for a couple of years (currently on a 2014) and retirement is closer than that.

If they told me my next work bike was going to be a 120" Road Glide, I may be convinced to stay a bit longer... ;)

Carb

That's the carb report for the replacement 120 motor that was just approved. Read the second paragraph, "IT IS ORDERED AND RESOLVED: That the engine and emission control systems produced by the manufacturer are certified for use as a replacement engine in on road motorcycles as described below. Production engines shall be in all material respects identical to those for which certification is granted."

Ah, missed the fine print. Thanks...

Been a while since I've posted here :) . That said, I SWEAR I saw a water cooled RGU on Saturday on my way home from work here in the s.w. suburbs of Cleveland. It had a tourpack and lowers and definitely had radiators. I would have turned around and gave chase but it didn't register what it was until it had passed. Oh, and this was very near the new Rock & Roll City H-D that opened a couple of weeks ago in Brook Park OH.
