Just bought wheels and tires today from Mean Cycle. DNA chrome fat spoke 21" front with rotors. Rear is same wheel in 16" with rotor and hub. Sealed so a tube isn't required.

Got Avon Cobra tires. Going with Ride-on sealer/balancer so I don't have 16 oz of lead on my spokes.

Wheels and tires $1700.

Happy as a pig in shit.

Love the wheels. I have them on my 2004 Ultra. I would only suggest you watch the mileage on the Cobra tires. They are a soft compound and usually only get about 7000-8000 miles on the rear. Good luck, maybe they have changed the compound.

I really don't ride that hard. I have never got more an 10K out of a rear tire. My average is about 7K. I have 6K on my Mezler 888 and they are done, which is why I am getting new wheels now instead of just replacing the tires

Just got off the phone with Mean Cycle. They are building my rims but had to order my pulley. The spoke pulley pic'ed above is for a Street Glide and 65 tooth (?) and the one for a RG is a 74 tooth which had to be ordered.

The wheel set is originally for a SG with the spoke 65 tooth pulley and an 18" rear wheel.

Finally got rims, tires, heated grips, HP clutch spring and Progressive monotubes with a 1 inch drop installed. VERY happy with the 21 inch front wheel look and ride. Used Ride On balance and sealer.

Looks good! Was that $1700 for both rims and tires and rotors? That's a great deal!

A 21" front rim, 16" rear rim, sealed, 3 polished rotors and Avon Cobra tires. $1700.00. I bought about 40 bucks in chrome bolts and trim pieces. The rotors were not attached and the hardware was not included, MEH.
