A friends son is looking to buy soon , he has a Honsukawyama something or other , came by the house last Friday for me to look at something on it , first bike , and I talked him out of a HD as his first .. Called me yesterday all excited , went by the rip off artists here looking at RGs and SGs , asked the dood the diff between the ride with the two fairings , guy let him ride both , had told him how awesome the RG low speed handling is and he said that was the first thing he noticed .. However he favors the SG , looking at a newer one with the new dash .. Asshats tried to sell him a used one for more than the price of a new one , but he walked away , said they were real high pressure ..

Going with him this weekend to Birmingham and look around .. I see the fire in his eyes I had in mine at his age , cept I'd already been riding ten years or so by then ..

Oh, I know that fire in the eyes look. I had it again at 62 when I bought my 16 RGS. I still had three in the stable at the time. It never gets any different to me.

Well talked to him not long ago , got called into werk , wont be able to make it tomorrow , but two good things :

1) he prefers the shark and thats what he is gonna get

2) he joined us here
