I have been looking into ways to add more cooling to my 13 BBP FLTRU.
I went lo a local parts recycler and found 2 prime condition late model Tahoe/Suburban tranny coolers.
I took them home, cleaned them, ground off the rivets for the mounting brackets, turned 2 of the brackets upside down and mounted the coolers over the holes for the flow through vents in the lowers.
I added new brass fittings and hose... Checked for leaks.
Bike dropped 25* max idle temp and dropped 35* for highway speed oil temps.
I can now idle in stalled traffic jams for over an hour an not go over 250* oil temps on a 95* day.
The bike also runs between 210* and 230* max between 45mph and 85mph on a 97*+ day.
