I was looking to have 57H cams put in my bike but the Tech suggested 55H cams
It came out pretty good but I still wonder if I would have been better off with the 57H cams
HP 95.40 TQ 102.90
I have checked my milage once since the install and I got 43mpg on that tank.

Question : How much more would I gain if I put ported heads on and would I have much reduction in mpg?

If you wanted a low end torque cam with a nice long torque curve, he talked you into the wrong cams. These were designed for 9.8 to 10.2 compression ratios and they are a mid range HP and TQ cam. As you can see on your dyno sheet they don't come on early and they don't last long. Sorry. :(

Hope it work for you but 57H sure hold longer and come on early enough for low speed crusing, am aggressive on the throttle :D works great on a stock motor.
Spend the money on the upgreat if the bike runs great just enjoy it.
