Bought a set of 09 lower fairing off craigslist for a steal ($100) Had a local shop color match them after I trimmed the top piece. They turned out AWESOME ! and he only charged 100 bux cash.

Next I got the wind deflectors that mount on the crash bar. Worth every penny ($40)

Then the 12" Windvest to wrap it all up. Ready for my trip to Florida next month.

Anybody have Pros/Cons on the Airhawk seat? Looking into it.

Bike's looking good.

Airhawk's are worth the money if you can't do more than 300 miles without squirming around. I've got them for me and the Mrs. and we used them a lot on the '11 we had. This '15 with the Hammock we don't need them though. This is the best stock seat I've ever sat on.

About the Airhawk, best way we found to adjust them is to put a little air in it, sit on it on a hard flat kitchen chair and slowly let the air out until your butt is just above or barely touching that chair. Too much air will change your seat height and also make you feel like your azz is "disconnected" from the bike.
Thanks for the input. I found it on Amazon for 77 with free shipping. I will be ordering one this week !

That's astounding. My painter quoted me $400 for PPG paint alone. No labor.
Looks like I'm ordering one. I want a new seat but don't wanna drop 3-400 right now for one.

When I picked them up, He said he should've quoted me higher. Said the paint alone is 153 a pint. He stood by his word tho. And will be getting a lot more service from me and my buddies.

He is painting my inner fairing for 150

Looks Good Bender! I hope I can find a local painter that would shoot my lowers for $100. Love how much better the wind management is with the lowers on, don't think they will come off often.
Thanks ! these lowers are here to stay. The wind management is amazing. The cool mornings don't bother me anymore
