This is my first post since joining the forum, however I have been reading this forum for some time and just want to start out saying this is one of the best forums for getting help and general knowledge I've been on. I recently started an audio upgrade project on my 07 and I received a PBR300X4 amp as a gift. Can someone tell me how to set up this amp and wire the speakers. I am using the Sony DSX MS60 with Hawg Wired ZX165s-100 in the faring and added RF P165S in the lower faring along with the P1TS tweeters in the gauge holes. Any help would be appreciated.

just follow the basics

RCA's in

wires out

are you asking specifically if you should run the additional tweeters post ZX crossover extending the high end? I'd think so

the only other items you might need are a BT1002 if you want handlebar control and an amp bracket if you aren't into velcro

please let us know if the 4ohm stable PBR300x4 will pull both sets of tweeters
and how it sounds

I'm not planning on using a kit, I want to use the craddles that came with the tweeters and make a compression fit so I don't have to use epoxy. Modified HD guage blank outs worst case. I already made my amp bracket at work from aluminum plate. Looks like the Bagger Nation plate and I bought the Hawg Wired HSA-470 kit so I should be good to go. I'm not sure if can run the tweeters with the front speakers. They have connections on the mids for the tweeters to plug into. I was planning on running the faring speakers on the front and the RF's & tweeters on the rear.
