My dealer have just installed Boom Audio Stage I in my RGU 2018.

4 Stage I speaker + 300 watts HD amplifier included in the stage I Kit.

I am noticing two things that I think need to be adjusted by the dealer:

1.- The volume does not rise beyond 3/4 of max volume.

2.- The fade between front and rear speakers is not very progressive. It seems there are two break point from which it switches from only rear ones to both at 50% and to only front ones.

Any comment on these two issues? Is it normal?

Unfortunately that’s kind of the norm for Boom stuff, the fade isn’t linear at all.

I would highly recommend turning the AVC off and keeping volume no higher than 14/17. The HU distorts above that level and it won’t take long to find out why we call it kaboom instead of boom.

So sad. I will tell my dealer and push him to solve it.
