This seems like an interesting idea

..... i can think of more than a few 'Road Rods' that could'a used something like this to properly align a shark nose to their Vrod frame

Looks like a stock mount to me, the stock mount has vertical slots where the fairing bolts on. You can get them cheaper then that at the HD dealer.
