Hi everyone. I was down at the local hd. Dealership and test rode a new fatbob. I currently own a 2013 candy orange rodie. Latly I've been thinking about getting a lighter more nimble bike. I love my r.g. but most of the riding I do it would be nice to have something a little more agile around town and that's how the fatbob felt to me. Am I nuts thinking about this trade? Anyone have a fatbob? What do you think a dealership would give me for mine, very low miles and lots of addons..

No idea what a dealer will give you... ask them.
As to your question, yeah, you're crazy.

Seriously, if you don't do any touring, why have a touring scoot? If all I did was ride around town I'd probably have a Dyna.

Lol. I do take it on some long rides as well, but the majority of my riding is between 60 to 80 miles per ride.

Thanks everyone one for all of your opinions and comments. I have a feeling I'll be keeping my rg. I wouldn't mind having the fatbob as a second bike but in my case it would be a 3rd bike. My husband broke his knee cap and had to have surgery. We bought a new triglide for him because his knee will never be stable enough again on a bike, so anyways I just can't justify a 3rd hd. Lok

Ok I admit I must have been nuts to ev en think about the trade. After riding the glide today I realized how much I love this bike. Thanks everyone for putting some since back in my head. Lol whew that was a close one!!!
