I'm going to be installing 2 amps in the fairing.

Would it be better to run 2 4 gauge wires for + and - and use distribution blocks to 8 gauge in the fairing or just run 4 8 gauge wires from the battery 2 for + and 2 for -?

Is there enough room under the tank for 2 8 gauge + wires and 2 8 gauge - wires plus 2 14 gauge speaker wires for 6x9's in the lids?

Any help from the audio gurus would be appreciated......

Ok, so I know how I'm getting power from the battery to the front fairing, what i'm trying to decide now is where I'm getting my remote turn on leads from for the Amplifiers? Where is the best place to get switched power from?

Due to a depletion of funds during the Christmas holidays I'm just going to have pre-amp's added by Iron Cross Audio to the stock HK.

8 gauge wire is plenty thick enough. I'm running 1 8 gauge wire and distributing it to 4 amps in my set up. I run the remote off of the cigarette lighter.
