I have a 18 Road Glide. I’m looking to start buy audio components over the winter. I’m looking at the Vega amp. I know nothing about amps. I’m going to start by doing and amp and front speakers. Eventually I want add saddlebag speakers. I was looking at buying the b54 four channel amp. But I saw that Rockford Fosgate recommend running the 4 channel amp 2 channel selection. So am I better off buying the B-52. Like I said I know nothing about amps so I was assuming for channels equaled speakers.

I have the b54 amp and I am running two rear speakers in 4 channel mode. Plenty of power and plenty of sound. Everything I looked up recommended running the amp in 4 channel. Essentially you’re running two amps one for each set of speakers. The rear and front have their own adjustment on the b54.

I didn’t have my radio flashed I just used RCA Y splitters.

For info I used BT amp mount and it worked great. The CVb54 is a little tight but it fits.

If you need a BT line lever I bought two by mistake. So I have an extra one.
