Alright fellas… here the updates (still not resolved thou):
So couple days ago, after unplugging all the connectors and also unclamped the bar, I found one of the “inside” pin in one of the connectors somehow got pushed in. So I figured just I replace it and reuse the stock one. After snake it out and snake in the stock one into the bar, I noticed it kinda too short coming out the hole on the bottom bar and will barely make it to the harness (even thou this a 12” bar). So I ended up buying some 6 inches extensions off Amazon.
The extensions got delivered literally about couple hours ago and so I went to work right away. AND… still not working!! I did everything I could (switched the placement of the connectors around, in case I was wrong.., make sure nothing got pinched, swapped the 5A fuse couple times) and still NADA..!!
I’m really at the end of my rope here. Was trying to be a good brother and helping my buddy with this install but I feel like I’m hitting the dead end! Am so confused here!!

@Hog Indo Just wondering if you could provide a link to the extensions you purchased too.
I don’t have the link but if you copy & paste the following on your Amazon, you’ll see it:
MoKitDora 8 Inch Handlebar CAN Circuit Wire Extension Harness for Harley Softail Touring Dyna Sportster Models

I may be late to the party, but just trying to help.

Those extensions probably won't make much of a difference, they're just passive extension wires.

Maybe yo should undo the assembly and remove the cables from the bars and see if it works.

Also, not sure I understood the issue with the pins being pushed in - if there was a pin not pushed in all the way on one connector, there could be others like this too.

I think he best thing is to backtrack and remove the wires and start from the beginning.

EDIT - I change the bars on my 2018 RGS about five times, so I know a lot can go wrong. Its easy to make a mistake and pinch a wire or forget something.

Noticed you are in Socal - where about?

I'm here in Riverside. Are you nearby?

I’m in south OC.
Not sure if I could get there this weekend.

Best bet would be to re-trace the assembly and check all your connections.
No worries. The bar is pre-wired and upon inspection, everything looks OK. Except for the one wire on the clutch side that has a pin "pushed" all the way back. So that was the one I took out and replaced it with the stock one that turned out (for whatever odd reason) a bit short to me. So that's when I ended up buying a 6" extension and add it to the stock for more slack. And like I mentioned, still not working!

I’m not sure I understand what wire or pin you are referring to - can you post some pics of this?
Maybe a video?

On the one connector coming from the clutch side towards the harness under the cluster, there are four little pins inside. One pin got pushed all the way in. So I thought that was the culprit. So what I did, I took that (pre)wired from the bar (the one that has the "pin" pushed all the way in) and snake in the OEM wire from the stock bar. But since it didn't give me enough slack, I ordered a 6' extension. It got here earlier this afternoon, connected it with the OEM wire (now it's longer), clipped everything back (clutch & throttle sides) and still NADA!

Not really/yet. How do I do this?
Turn on the ignition switch and when the warring screen comes up push and hold the power button and the Service menu will come up. DTC will be the very first thing in the menu. There should be codes stored. once you get the post what they are. I tried to link a video, but they aren't showing up today.

OK I watched the video and are you suggesting me to do a “reset”?

NO.....Check the DTC so you have an ideal off what the problem is. The DTC Diagnostic Trouble Codes will be the first selectable item in Service menu. Once you get the DTC post what comes up and we'll be able to help you find the issue from a logical trouble shooting point instead of just taking shots in the dark.
