I see it mixed in through a lot of the posts here, so how about a comprehensive list? I'm in the market for bars and I know those of you that have/had apes went through the trouble of figuring out which height to get.

So how about including:

Your Height -

What height bar you went with. (If tried multiple heights, which ones you started with then what you settled on.) -

Which brand of bar you went with -

Did you use stock cables? - Y/N

What year RG? -

Did you swap riser bushing? Y/N

Different seat?

Ride safe!

I think unless you are really short or really tall it is just a preference.

Your Height - 6'3"
What height bar you went with - 13" on a 2016 and a 2017 Road Glide
Which brand of bar you went with - Road 6 Customs (twice, they are good and very well priced)
Did you use stock cables? - Yes
Did you swap riser bushing? No first time, Yes second time. I recommend doing it while the bars are already off.

I'll volunteer,
5'8" 200lbs 32" inseam, don't know my arm length
I have 10" Appleton Customs now, very comfortable, set me up straight, but I do a lot of slow speed maneuvers (practicing) and my arms tend to get a little tired quickly.
I'm going to be putting 14" on soon, will update.
PS, no cable or wire changes with 10's, plenty slack left.
